Vacation

Going out of town from thurs-sun. I hate vacations because i dont get "me time" lol. Probably gonna play a lot of Command & Conquer 3. Leaving at 6 am tomorrow... and its 12:15 atm ><. but then again, sleep is for the weak. well so if anyone even pays attention to this blog you might not have anything for like 4 days =/. well hope everyone has a good Thanksgiving.

Assassin's Creed

Hearing mixed things about this game. It started off really slow and boring. BUT then it gets better. It takes away all your powers and you slowly have to gain them back. Once I got the knife I was having so much fun. Its way better than the sword. You can move like Prince of Persia but it takes less skill and the combat is basically mashing X at the right time. Stealth is pretty boring but getting an assassination off is satisfying. The story telling is also really cool. Its all Matrix like. Enjoyable game even if its slow and kinda repetitive.

Does music make the person?

I was thinking about this, whether the music we listen to determines how we act. Zeppelin fans have long hair and Led Zep t shirts. Punk fans grow a mo hawk and get piercings. People that listen to rap usually act ghetto. "Alternative" music makes you a pretentious D-bag. And usually people's friends listen to similar music.

I don't listen to one type of music. I love metal, but I love folk songs. I love rap and techno. I like "alternative" music and punk rock. I don't categorize myself under any kind of music. When people say "What kind of music do you listen to?" I say, "I don't know. I listen to everything." And people won't accept that as an answer. This could be why I get along so well with everyone and I feel like I can fit in anywhere.

Thats my idea for the day. Broaden your horizons.

I've been lazy but i finally did a comic today. I like doing the Caesar penguin so this is another one. Took me around 2 hours... dont know when I started. Its almost 2am so i think its bed time.

Crazy Day

So I go to the local Cofee Bean at like 4:30 to study for an AP US History test with a friend. Still studying at 6:30 when I receive a call: movie at 7:30 with my friend and 2 girls. I'm in. SOOO I try to rush through the rest and we finish at 7:00. Now, I walked there which took about 15 min. I need to get home to my car and to the theater 15 min away from my house. AND I need to get ready to go out. I have to half run home with a backpack. Well you see, I'm not in the best shape: in fact I am in pretty bad shape. This was difficult. Well I got home in under 10 min. Run upstairs. And put on deodorant and watered down cologne. Search through laundry and find my sweatshirt. Meet up at 7:25. Decide not to go to a movie.... WTF?! Instead we walk around for about 2 hours and end up in Best Buy (sweetest store ever). Look around for 15 min and find Guitar Hero and play it. As we play one of the girls said, "I want to play Halo" (she never played before). I offered that we could play at my house. OK. I head to my car (once again running, only easier cause I don't have a backpack). I rush home to tell my parents. Arrive and they aren't home yet (out at a party down the street). Then, I notice my room in messy so I try to clean it as fast as possible. Barely finish most of it before my friend and the 2 girls arrive. So we get Halo working and my friend chooses the map. Snowbound. My worst map and he knows it. We play and my team loses (the girl he was with was better than mine ><. and he played really well). Then we go to my dogs and play with them. Then another round, because I want revenge. I pick my best map and we win. Oh yea. my parents arrive half way through the second round. SO then they all leave at like 10:50. And my parents are like WTF? and I explain it to them. Now I am writing on my blog listening to Extra Life Radio (best podcast ever). And THAT was my day.

I just downloaded Saul Williams' new album The Inevitable Rise and Fall of Niggytardust and I am really liking it. It is produced by Trent Reznor and he does music on many tracks. The album is well worth it imo. Its $5 or free and you can listen to it before you buy. A lot like Radiohead's new album distribution-wise. (Which also kicked ass)

Halo 3

WOW. I do not think the ending sequence to halo could have been any better. The car part was a great homage to Halo 1. And the final dialog between Master Chief and Cortona sent shivers down my spine. That happy ending crap with Arbiter and Darth Vader (Lord Hawk) was pretty "meh".
Loved the game. Halo ftw.
