Ranting

OK so I was reading a history book and the dates were B.C.E (Before Common Era) and C.E. (Common Era). WTF is this about? I mean I guess that the authors didn't want to offend people by saying "Before Christ" but it the exact same fucking thing, right? The only difference is that it pisses me off and makes me look at dates instead of just seeing BC or AD like I'm used to. Its wasting precious 1/2 seconds of my life... actually more that that because they made me write this. I'll always use BC cause that E is a waste of time.
